Phillip Morrison is a graduate of Camberwell & St Martins College of Art, Covent Garden, London. He currently lives and works in County Clare where his surroundings are his inspiration.

Phillip Morrison's work concentrates on familiar streetscapes and surf scenes from the West of Ireland. Strong shapes and colour are key signatures which create interesting compositions and movement. Often the sky in a painting has no physical relationship with the landscape below it but by forcing a relationship between the two by use of lines that interweave between them, Phillip creates a visual tempo that is instantly recognisable.
